Building Nonprofit & Service Club Capacity and Sustainability for the Post-Covid-19 Era

Is your group facing struggles?

  • Is your nonprofit organization or service club wondering what work and life will be like when physical distancing is no longer required and work /life takes on whatever the new "normal" is?
  • Are you concerned about how your funding, financial stability and sponsor/donor relationships will be impacted?
  • Has your strategic plan taken a back seat or gone sideways?
  • Are you hearing sponsors and donors reducing support in your community?
  • Did your organization have staffing or programming changes as a result of Covid-19?
  • Are you ready to build a resilient organization that can withstand changing and uncertain times and scale up your impact?
Covid-19 struggles for nonprofits and service clubs

Relationships are the key of what Charmaine and Ken teach.

In fact, they met when Charmaine was speaking at the Rotary Club that Ken is a member of, and he happened to be leading the meeting that day.  It was evident that the ways in which they support nonprofits and service clubs were aligned.  Ken interviewed Charmaine on his podcast (The Entrepreneurial Non Profit) and the rest is history!

From their synergy, this program was created through collaboration.

Ken and Charmaine both work extensively with nonprofit organizations, charities, foundations, and service clubs and are well aware of the challenges (and, in some cases, fear) that organizations like yours are facing right now.

This online workshop has been designed to help organizations and their leadership teams build sustainable futures in an environment where change and uncertainty is the norm.

[Ken] helped us achieve some substantial landmarks...

Ken is an exceptional coach who knows his stuff and who does his homework. Ken led our team through a very successful strategic planning process. He came to the table extremely well acquainted with our organization. He kept our group fully engaged throughout the two day process. And he helped us achieve some substantial landmarks as we plan forward. Ken has become a valued friend in the process.

[Charmaine's] talk provided extra motivation and new ideas...

Our club found Charmaine’s ideas to be interesting and thought-provoking. Her talk was well timed for our club as it was just before an annual holiday fundraiser and the talk provided extra motivation and new ideas to our club members for our fund-raising efforts. We have already incorporated a couple of her suggestions in our fundraising. I can recommend Charmaine to other Rotary clubs, especially during the months leading up to a major fundraiser.

Ken's knowledge, personality and approach helped the team move ahead...

Ken has been engaged twice to facilitate strategic discussions for a non-profit organization for which I am a Board member. Each time, Ken's knowledge, personality and approach helped the team move ahead in a united fashion much more effectively than we would have otherwise. Ken has a terrific way of developing a safe environment for participants to address tough questions.

...we were talking about the deep systemic factors affecting our organization in Flin Flon.

Having Ken Thiessen come as a consultant for our organization was one of the best leadership decisions I've made. Ken was professional, personable and accessible.
